Each pupil needs a bespoke programme and specific advice that suits their needs. Richard who works with our students, caters for the many specific needs of each student. He differentiates his guidance, resources and communication techniques to help our young people who have ASD.
Working with SEND students is an important part of my role. SEND students are no different when it comes to wanting to become active citizens – they just often have more barriers to overcome. Working with them is both rewarding and challenging, and I value being a small part of the process that helps them move closer to a fulfilling career.
I was very glad to get help from vanessa because she gave me a lot of time to talk about my different ideas and see where i should apply. it has really helped me focus on my grades now.
