Progress Careers nominated for Most Supportive Employer Award!

Drumroll please!…We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been nominated for the Most Supportive Employer award for the second consecutive year.

As a team of expert career providers, we are dedicated to giving young people access to impartial careers advice and guidance that empowers them to make informed decisions about their futures. Our team of talented Careers Advisers are a passionate and dedicated bunch who constantly go above and beyond, as we are passionate about supporting them as much as they support the students who they work with.

The awards, which form part of the Careers in Careers Festival, will take place on the  October 18th  2024. This prestigious virtual conference is focused on career development, and this year follows the theme of Securing Longevity, both within the careers sector and through those we work with. For Progress Careers, this is shown through the expert career provision they provide to nearly 100 Schools and Multi-Academy trusts (MATs).

The event will include a number of talks such as from keynote speaker, Jo Saxton, CEO of UCAS and expert in the field. Amongst these talks, our very own Managing Director, Paula Thompson, will be joining a panel to discuss ‘How to protect the wellbeing of you and your clients, in a tough and ever-changing workplace’.

Progress Careers has a strong set of core values, one is to be Brazenly People First, and we seek to embody this daily, especially in regards to our colleagues. By ensuring that our colleagues are looked after, feel heard and have a supportive environment to grow from, we can provide the best possible service to  students.

Paula said: “I’m beyond words that Progress Careers have been nominated for Most Supportive Employer at the 2024 Careers in Careers Festival. Not only is this a great event for our sector, but to be recognised for the second year running is truly humbling. We take a lot of pride in supporting and investing in our colleagues through qualifications and CPD, as well as taking time out for well-being and family days, so to see this being recognised and applauded is simply brilliant. I can’t wait for the festival!”

The winners will be announced at the event so keep your fingers crossed!
