The team at Progress Careers are celebrating together after being named as the Most Supportive Employer at the recent Careers in Careers Celebration Festival 2023 awards.
The awards, which put the spotlight on careers and aimed to create a legacy of hope, took place virtually on the 14th November 2023.
After a day of inspirational and thought-provoking keynote speeches and panel discussions, the event moved on to a virtual award ceremony, where there were just six awards up for grabs. It will come as no surprise that the Progress Careers team were elated to be crowned Most Supportive Employer, after being nominated for the award.
Managing Director of Progress Careers, Paula Thompson said;
“Words cannot describe how incredibly proud I am to win this award. Supporting our wonderful team of colleagues, whether that be to develop professionally, establish a flexible working pattern that works for them and the business, or to climb the career ladder, is something I am passionate about. I truly believe that our team of Careers Advisers are our most important asset. Without them, we’d have no Progress Careers.
“But more than supporting them with their goals, I also foster a culture that is centered around collaboration, communication, and commitment to excellence. I am proud when I see the virtual high-fives that take place in our group chat, and I am humbled when I read the incredible feedback that colleagues give to each other via our employee recognition scheme. I honestly could not be more proud of the ‘family feel’ we have here at Progress Careers.
“And that ethos is very much reflected in our approach to supporting schools. It’s just one reason why 100% of our schools tell us that they would recommend us and are happy with our service.”
The award comes after a long line of recent successes for the growing careers provider, who have also recently welcomed numerous new schools onboard, launched a new dedicated careers app called iProgress and grown their staff team by 25% within the last 12 months.
The sky is the limit for Progress Careers, and now, with their first award win under their belt, they are flying high as a team who are driven by their shared passion for providing impartial and dynamic careers guidance to young people.
