Schools and Acadmies show

It’s not very often that the Progress Careers team get to go off-piste for the day but that’s exactly what they are planning to do later this month, swapping their school settings for the National Exhibition Centre as they exhibit at the Schools and Academies Show.

The team will be showcasing their refreshing approach to careers advice and guidance alongside their dedicated careers app, iProgress, which was developed to help save schools valuable time and resources when it comes to monitoring and reporting on their careers programme. The app is just one of the many ‘added value’ services offered to schools who partner with Progress Careers for their face-to-face careers provision.

Progress Careers, who offer impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance to schools across Yorkshire & Humber, the Northeast, East Midlands and the Northwest, already work with over 100 schools and support over 6,000 young people every year. They pride themselves on delivering a careers service like schools have never seen before and are proud that 100% of their schools were happy with the service they received in 2022. They are a team who are driven by energy, expertise, and eclecticism.

The Schools and Academies Show is the perfect opportunity to network with senior leaders and discuss all things careers with delegates. The team will also be on hand to offer school leaders with advice and direction around their school’s curriculum and explore the different ways that Progress Careers can support a school to meet the obligatory regulations as well as the all-important Gatsby Benchmarks.

And talking about the Gatsby Benchmarks, delegates can also have a go and try the newly launched Gatsby Quiz which is powered by the Compass Tool. After answering a series of questions, visitors to the stand will receive a ranking for how their careers curriculum stacks up against the benchmarks, giving them an idea as to how Ofsted may review their programme. After which time, they will have access to a free careers consultation with a member of the team.

If this sounds like a careers company who is right up your street, be sure to drop by and say hello (there may even be some sweets on offer). You’ll find Paula and Rachel on stand J22 at the Schools and Academies Show on Wednesday 22nd November.
