Progress Careers has been announced as the sponsor for the Educate Awards – Careers & Enterprise category for the third consecutive year.
Progress Careers delivers high-quality, flexible Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) services to schools. Their services support schools and educational institutes to fulfil their responsibility to provide students with high-quality, external, impartial CEIAG.
2022 marks the third consecutive year that the careers experts have sponsored the esteemed awards.
The Careers & Enterprise category recognises those schools, academies, and colleges who place high emphasis on providing impartial careers advice and guidance to their students to support them with their post-16 options.
Judges will be on the lookout for entries that can demonstrate outstanding examples of career-related learning. They will also be looking for institutes that foster an entrepreneurial spirit amongst pupils and students, and actively encourage entrepreneurship.
The judging panel will draw on evidence submitted to decide the category winner. The prestigious awards ceremony will be held in the iconic Liverpool Cathedral on Friday, 18 November 2022.
Paula Thompson, Managing Director of Progress Careers said: “As an organisation who lives and breathes careers education, advice and guidance, we are delighted to sponsor this category which showcases those schools across Liverpool who place the same importance on careers advice as we do.
“Yes, schools have a statuary obligation to provide careers advice to their students, but what makes me so passionate about these awards and this category in particular is that these schools can clearly demonstrate how they embed careers advice and value its importance for helping a young person to make informed decisions about their future. I cannot wait to see who wins this year and look forward to celebrating with everyone involved.”
Nominees and sponsors will gather in the venue for a night filled with celebration, praise, and fun.
Founded in 2012, the Educate Awards celebrate excellence in the sector. The awards are the largest education awards in the North-West, with a total of 21 education awards are up for grabs.
